26th of June and it’s like November!
The height of summer in Scotland and the temperature never got higher than 13C, still managed to have some fun on the ebike though even if I didn't break into a sweat!
The view from the top of the shelterbelt track looking down to Glencorse Reservoir, you always need to concentrate going down here especially if its wet, which luckily it wasn't today
The rain of the last few days has made for muddy tracks on the way over to the Pentland Hills again which means muddy shorts as well! Not good if you sit down on a clean chair in the house on the return!

Bits of track we hadn’t done for some time
The cimb up the narrow track the west end of Black Hill, always a hard one.
Along the north side of Black Hill, much easier and smoother in the summer
The final climb and the final photo at the summit of Castlelaw, its all downhill from here to back home. A perfect end to a great ride!

Barrie needs a tow back to base!
A view over my shoulder as I towed Barrie back to base with my homemade towrope made from two old tubes tied together!
The freehub on Barrie's bike packed in with the result he had to push up every climb, not easy when its a heavy ebike you're pushing up a rough hillside!
This photo was taken before the breakdown at the top of Black Hill in glorious sunshine for a change!

Clive’s still going for a big jump!
I photographed Clive doing a jump here about 8 years ago and lately he's been trying to recreate that moment again, unfortunately all I get oiut of this is nettle stings on my legs due to where i have to stand for the best picture!
The weather this month has been really good for Pentlands ebiking with the trails firm and dry and the views tremendous, long may it continue
Heres a selfie taken at the summit of Castlelaw

Round the Winter Loop 2 days running in the summer!
Wednesdays trip was with Kathy and we did it clockwise
.
She wasn't too keen at first but then after puffing a bit she consented to be towed up the steepest part of the seven steps and even admitted it had been a good experience!
Today, Thursday it was Clives turn to accompany me and this time we did it anti clockwise
As Clive was also on an ebike no towing was required today, and another good days riding was had!
