Best .day’s weather for a long time!

The climb up the track to the top of Black Hill, still some snow not melted by the sun at the side

The view from the top of Black Hill today was tremendous a fine setting for a father and son photo!

Not too long till we were on the descent and it was carried out with no offs (for a change)

Hey! I managed a quickie before the snow disappears!

The puddles are the result of the rain, snow and gales we had these last ten days or so!

Still a little snow left here and there

Sometimes you're just lucky and someone is there to open a gate for you, this is what happened here!

The reason there’s been no action……the weather has been atrocious, gales and rain!

The weather is the cause of no activity either on foot or bike! It's been simply awful, if its not been blowing a gale its been chucking down rain and a lot of the time its been doing both at the same time! However there may be a letup this weekend so fingers crossed that there might be some action.....heres hoping!

This was misery but for some reason “enjoyable” misery!!

Coldest day in the hills this winter

Not a lot of snow lying but plenty ice had formed through the night and it took a fair bit of skill to negotiate some of the rocky climbs,I think the e-motor helped in that you could keep the pedal rate fairly low.

The snow must have been drifting here into the track....made things more interesting!

Always an interesting view coming back down this section of track especially in the winter
