Beautiful Spring day for a bike ride in the Pentland Hills!
Look at this cheeky wee chap eyeing us up!
Look at that sky, a rare sight in Scotland at this time of year!
The final descent which goes under the name of "Maidens Cleugh"!

Still chilly but no rain and very little wind
Me trying to look cool and relaxed on my trip today!
z
How some of the tramck looks on the way down the section known as Phantoms Cleugh!
I made it round though and the view near the end is always a bonus!

Not looking too great but its the first cut of the year so hopefully it will improve!

Short and sweet bike ride and home in time for tea!

As bleak as hell today in a cold easterly wind!
The start of the climb to Bavelaw and at this point the east wind was in our backs!
By the time we'd reached the Seven Steps it was a semi head wind and a case of "keep p edalling!"
At lEast it was downhill for nearly a mile but not particularly pleasant into the wind!

Very cold today but at least it was dry!
Leaving Loanhead behind Barrie and Clive over the bridge on the old railway track to Roslin
Nice and sunny but cold as hell!

Its started and there's no shelter going up the Goat Track, just have to get my head down and pedal on!
.
Made it to the top, now to head for home as fast as possible!

Castlelaw and the Goat Track on a beautiful afternoon!
The last few pedal strokes to the summit of Castlelaw
,,:The start of the Goat Track and just look at that view!
If I'm going to meet horses it always seems to be on the old railway bridge!
