Better take care of the wound now the patch is off for a week or two yet!

Will I get the large bandage (?) off my nose tomorrow?

I'm not worried about the head scar its the hideous nose bandage that has every child staring at me, hopfully they'll remove it tomorrow when I visit the clinic (fingers crossed) and a lot more!!

There might not be any biking for a week or two…..

The first rather rough patchup done up in the hills to stem the bleeding after I went over the bars andd my specs took a lump out my nose!

The much neater job done at the hospital! So no biking until some healing has taken place! I'll keep you informed!

The hot dry weather would appear to be over!

This young lad was eager to pose for a photo on his bike when Clive and I passed him and his mum this morning, who knows, he might soon be showing us his back wheel in a sprint!

Down by the ponds to say hello to the ducks, ducklings, swans and cygnets!

Already the drizzle is beginning to show on the camera lens and we've only been gone about 10 minutes, oh well, back to normal Scottish weather!

Fell off more times than I can remember today!

Another day in Scotland without rain, shocking isn’t it?!!

The weathers so good just now the farmers are managing to bale their hay with no rainfall on it since it was cut, this very rarely happened when I was involved in agriculture!

I can always be relied on to close a gate behind me!

The last potential tricky bit on todays route but it wa s safely crossed!

Hot summer weather hits us at last!

It's been a while since we did a Pentland Hills ride in weather like this, mind you we still took a jersey with us "just in case!"

Received Wimbledon results high in the Pentland Hills!

This is where I learned by phone that the last surviving Briton at Wimbleton had won his way through to the semi finals and whats more, Scotland is claiming him as one of theirs!!

A change of weather to drry and bright made it a pleasure to pedal tonight unlike the windy weather we've been having lately!
