Biggest Pentlands ride for quite some time

Down through the trees on the way over to the Pentland Hills!

Not long till we're in amongst the sheep up in the hills!

Its nice and dty presently but a fair bit of rain is forecast at the end of next week....it will be October by then so what else can we expect?

The heather is coming into bloom now and the hills are looking good!

Up in the hills with a change of chain!

I decided a change of chain was needed as there had been no change for quite some time, so one that had been cleaned and relubricated was got oout its storage box and fitted to the ebike, the old one going into the cleaner for a spell! With the change of chain it was off up the hills I went....try and stop me!!

First tricky bit tryiny to avoid tearing either my jersey or my skin on prickly brambles!

The trails a bone hard and perfect for riding just now, I'm not looking forward to greasy wet tracks again!

Perfect weather to get out on the ebike up the Pentland Hills again!

The hardest bit about riding an ebike is lifting the heavy devil over a gate thats locked shut!

Just look at that sky and the heather i s beginning to bloom into the bargain!
